WARRIORS CLASS (AGES 8-10)
A 45 minute class where we keep it active and engaging while also focusing on foundational karate principles. Lots of games interspersed with gross motor movements and karate techniques. Kids will also learn kata and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu basics.
Monday and Wednesdays 5:45-6:30.
SAMURAI CLASS (AGES 11 AND UP)
An hour long class focusing on the foundations of karate. Kids will learn all the arm and leg techniques as well as kata, kumite(sparring), and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu basics.
Monday and Wednesdays 6:45-7:45.
OUTDOOR ADULT CLASS
Focus is on all areas of traditional karate principles as well as self-defense and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Emphasis on longevity and health, balance, mobility, and flexibility.
Tuesday and Thursdays 6:30-7:30PM.
KIDS ONLINE KARATE
You will learn the same material as the in-person classes but from the comfort of your home! We currently use the Zoom app.
Tues & Thurs at 5:30-6:10 PM.
BLACK BELT CLUB
Fine tune your technique and build endurance, power, and speed. An intense kumite/kata class. An add on class to the Samurai class (must be registered in Samurai class). Ages 13-17.
Mondays 7:45-8:15- Begins October 5, 2020.
ABOUT NRV TRADITIONAL KARATE
You've got hidden potential that you don't recognize. We're the catalyst to get you started on your transformation! You'll learn a mix of traditional Shotokan karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu thus giving you a well rounded arsenal of techniques to help keep you safe and secure. We have been training and teaching since 1996 and pursue martial arts because of the joys it gives us. We would love to be there when you begin your martial arts journey!

All children and their parents must review & sign this before the start of classes.
Respect all adults and peers.
Be honest and committed to integrity.
Respect the rights and property of others and of the dojo.
No touching equipment unless authorized.
Use appropriate language.
Speak respectfully to and about others.
Accept responsibility for your own actions.
Refrain from harassment of any kind.
Refrain from any deliberate disruption.
Participate fully in class.
Demonstrate good sportsmanship.
Wear a full uniform for every class.
Understand that aggressive behavior such as pushing, slapping, touching inappropriately will not be tolerated.
Remove chewing gum BEFORE class.
Remove shoes and socks before class and place in shoe storage or neatly against the wall.
First offense- Reps of push-ups & squats
Second offense- No signature in journal
Third offense- sit with parent in the waiting room
